Hereford Cathedral Close Oral Reminscences Our eighteen-month oral reminiscence project has revealed an unimaginably rich vein of memories and beautiful photographs: tales from the WWII fire wardens, a 1930s milk delivery boy, the toddler who’s pedal car turned heads, a Royal picnic in the rain, the Head Boy’s football that smashed an ancient leaded window, and the modern-day students who form strong friendships while waiting for the bus… Complementing the main film is The Learning Zone two short films and a book of classroom activities inspired by the Cathedral Close that were created to be fun and effective educational resources focusing on local history and World War 2.
